The University of Glasgow Crest depicts the legend of St. Mungo, with the addition of the Book of Learning and the University Mace. The Latin motto on the ribbon, 'Via Veritas Vita', means 'the Way, the Truth, the Life'. Find out more about our coast of arms here.

This version is from the Gilmorehill Centenary Window in the University's Randolph Hall and was designed in 1970 by Gordon Webster to mark the 100th anniversary of the University campus moving to its current site.

The paperweight has been hand-painted in Britain by Winged Heart Stained Glass.
