Rose and Teardrop Coaster
A souvenir coaster featuring the Rose and Teardrop textile design by Charles Rennie Mackintosh, which is in the Hunterian collection.
Mackintosh used stylised roses throughout his career, but this design is one of the most developed - each of the twenty roses is different. The design was produced during the years the Mackintoshes were living in London, 1915-1923.
