This print shows a reconstruction of the 'point-paper' design used to direct the loom that wove the music library carpet of the Mitchell Library, Glasgow.

The print is an outcome of the exhibition UNDERFOOT at The Hunterian Art Gallery (2022-23). The exhibition was realised through a partnership between The Hunterian, Panel, Dr Fiona Jardine / The Glasgow School of Art, and Dovecot Studios, Edinburgh. UNDERFOOT was generously funded by the National Lottery through Creative Scotland, with additional support from Kingston School of Art, London, and a University of Glasgow Library Research Fellowship.
