Rare Find is delighted to present this exclusive 12-yo single cask bottling for the University of Glasgow.
Distilled in the Lowlands in 2014, this single malt spent most of its life in a refill sherry butt before being carefully re-racked into a dechar-rechar ex-sherry cask. The subtle, refined influence added during its final months in this rejuvenated hogshead enhances the whisky's depth without overpowering its distillery character.
This single cask release was selected by the University of Glasgow Gift Shop for its exceptional balance and is limited to just 342 bottles worldwide. A true collector's item, it celebrates both Scottish craftsmanship and the proud heritage of the University.
Nose: Rich honey and candied fruit mingle with gentle caramel and subtle dark fruit notes, offering a sweet and inviting aroma.
Palate: Lightly textured with baked apple, raisins, and a touch of cinnamon, complemented by the lingering sweetness of candied fruit.
Finish: Warm and slightly spirited, carrying a gentle heat with layered rich spices, leaving a complex and memorable impression.
Distilled, blended and bottled in Scotland. 70cl / 57.9% volume. Please drink responsibly.
