🎁 UK Delivery
We offer several options for UK delivery.
- Royal Mail First Class (untracked): £5
- Royal Mail Signed For (limited tracking): £7.50
- DHL Express (fully tracked): £9
- FREE DHL delivery on all orders over £100
We aim to process all UK orders within 5-7 working days, excepting personalised or made-to-order items. These have longer timescales and may be dispatched separately by our suppliers.*
Orders under £100 can be sent via Royal Mail First Class (£5), Royal Mail Signed For (£7.50), or DHL Express courier (£9). DHL Express is a fully tracked service, while Royal Mail Signed For has limited tracking. Royal Mail First Class is untracked. All orders over £100 qualify for free DHL delivery.
We dispatch orders five days a week, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays or days when the shop is closed (such as between Christmas and New Year, or during stocktake).
*Please note that Personalised plaques are dispatched directly by our supplier, Scotcrest, via Royal Mail or by courier. Replacement Degree Parchments are dispatched by the University Registry via a tracked service. Graduation ceremony recordings are sent via e-mail by the University's Learning Enhancement and Development Service (LEADS).
🌍 International Delivery (including EU & EEA Orders)
We offer the following delivery options for international orders:
- DHL Express (fully tracked): £25
- FREE DHL Express on all orders over £150 (offer applies 1-30 April 2025; excludes any local taxes, customs duties, and/or additional import charges)
We aim to process all international orders within 10 working days, excepting personalised or made-to-order items. These have longer timescales and may be dispatched separately by our suppliers.
We dispatch orders from the Gift Shop five days a week, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays or days when the shop is closed (such as between Christmas and New Year, or during stocktake).
CUSTOMS AND IMPORT FEES: To bring us into line with current tax legislation, overseas customers will not be charged VAT (sales tax) when checking out. Depending on your country of residence you may have to pay VAT or sales taxes, plus any additional customs fees, tariffs or handling costs, when your parcel arrives in the destination country. Any such fees are the responsibility of the recipient and not of GURHL.
DHL Express will make you aware of any charges due as soon as they are applied by authorities in your own country. These charges will need to be settled with DHL before your order can be delivered. If your order has been sent via an alternative delivery partner for any reason, you may be contacted either by them or by your local customs authority regarding any charges.
Should we dispatch an order overseas and there is a refusal to pay the above charges (where they apply), we will not provide a refund. This is because in most cases we cannot recover the goods, or can only do so at considerable expense, and the parcel ends up being destroyed.

FREE SHIPPING OFFERS: Where we run free shipping or related offers, 'Free shipping' means that we will pay the cost of posting the goods. This does not include any local taxes and/or customs charges that may apply in the destination country, and the recipient will still be liable for any such additional charges as outlined in our full Terms and Conditions.

🛒 Collect from Shop Orders
Our collect from shop service is free of charge. We aim to process collect from shop orders within two working days (or four working days, if your order is placed over a weekend). We will let you know when your order has been processed and is ready to pick up. The shop is open for order collection from 10am to 5pm, Monday to Sunday (excluding days when the shop is closed, such as between Christmas and New Year, or during stocktake).
Orders remaining uncollected after 6 months will be returned to stock without refund. For our full collection policy and FAQs, please see here.
