Refund, credit note or exchange is offered on items returned within 28 days of purchase with proof of purchase, in original and undamaged packaging and in fully resaleable condition
Faulty products can be returned within 28 days with proof of purchase to apply for refund, exchange or credit note. If the product is returned more than 28 days after the transaction date, the management will use its discretion in deciding whether or not to offer a refund. Management can also decide to offer credit note or exchange or decide to take no action.
Credit notes will only be offered on sale items if returned within 28 days of purchase with proof of purchase, in original and undamaged packaging and in fully resaleable condition
If is it clear that the item was bought in one of the shops managed by GU Heritage Retail Limited, and meets the other conditions for a cash refund, a credit note is given to customers without proof of purchase. (e.g. University of Glasgow branded merchandise)
If the item is not in fully resaleable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund or refund less than the full price
Web refunds: the above policy applies. Refund of delivery charge will only be given in the instance of incorrect, damaged or faulty goods.
Web customers will be charged for delivery again when sending out exchanged goods, if these were not incorrect, damaged or faulty.
For reasons of hygiene the following products cannot be returned/ refunded/exchanged: earrings.
Deposits or other payments for made to measure and personalised items cannot be returned or exchanged unless the item is faulty or is not what the customer specified. In this circumstance GUHRL's customer order form will be used as a reference point, especially for text engraving, embroidery and kilt orders. If the customer has incorrectly specified what they required, GUHRL will not be held responsible and payment will be required in full.
